About

Ernest Found Jr., MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who has been with us since 1987 and specializes in spinal injuries and deformities.

He attended college at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and medical school at the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Boston and spine fellowship at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Dr. Found is particularly interested in adult spine surgery to include degenerative conditions, spine trauma, spine infections, and neoplastic tumors. He has been involved with spine research, particularly with biomechanics of spinal implants as well as long-term follow-up of spinal conditions.

He has maintained a very active clinical practice and has assisted in the care and management of thousands of spine patients.
