Your doctor will decide when you are ready for one of our Survivorship Clinics. This decision is based on many factors including type of cancer, side effects you may have had, and progress made after treatment. Any individual 18 years or older may be eligible.
- Are there signs of recurrence?
- Are you suffering from late- or long-term side effects?
- Are you pursuing a healthy lifestyle?
- Physical activity reduces risk of recurrence
- Exercise, diet, no smoking
We will also provide an outline of information for family physicians if a survivor chooses to go there instead.
