Twelve nurses from UI Hospitals and Clinics were among this year’s honorees on the 100 Great Iowa Nurses list. The annual list is produced through a cooperative effort of The Iowa Nurses Association, the Iowa Nurses Foundation, and the UI College of Nursing. Nominations are solicited from colleagues, patients, doctors, friends, and family members. Each year, the field of nominees is narrowed to 100 by a panel of reviewers including nursing professionals and previous award winners. Since 2005, 84 nurses from UI Hospitals and Clinics have received this honor. Click here to see a list of this year’s honorees.
