Would you like University of Iowa Health Care to sponsor your organization’s upcoming community event or activity? Are you looking for in-kind support or a partnership opportunity? We have guidelines to assist you.
The organization requesting sponsorship funding or in-kind support must align with the mission, vision and values of UI Health Care to be considered. Your organization must also be tax-exempt and a nonprofit organization, in good standing.
All initiatives should be related to community health improvement or community building. Community health improvement can include community health education, outreach, and prevention services. Community building seeks to address the root cause of health problems such as poverty, homelessness, and environmental hazards.
Sponsorship requests that do not fall into the recommended guiding principles of community health improvement or community building and/or cannot be funded will receive consideration for non-financial support. Staff will follow up with the requesting organization to discuss other ways UI Health Care may be able to support the event or cause.
Contributions are not given for travel or travel-related expenses; to individuals; to organizations of primarily political focus; or to organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion, creed, or sexual orientation. University of Iowa Health Care cannot sponsor individuals who are participating in a fundraising event.
The completion of a sponsorship request form needs to be filled out to be considered for financial, in-kind support, or partnership. Requests must be received at least three months prior to your event, if applicable. You will be notified within approximately four to six weeks of the outcome of your request.
If you would like sponsorship of multiple events over the course of the year, we request that you submit one annual request with all options for support. This will enhance your chances for financial support and partnership.
