Psychological services have long been a part of the offerings in Psychiatry at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. These include a variety of therapeutic, assessment, and consultative services that are provided to outpatients and inpatients.
We have psychologists who specialize in areas such as concussion evaluation, evaluation of learning disorders, Huntington’s disease, voiding dysfunction, habit reversal therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, cardiac issues, treatment of anxiety/depression, applied behavioral analysis, autism evaluation, ADHD evaluation, and dialectical behavior therapy.
