It's a girl thing!
Ever wonder what medical students learn to become doctors? How do scientists make discoveries that cure disease? Experience all the science, technology, engineering and math can offer while you explore hands-on experiences alongside current UI medical and biosciences students, doctors and other health care providers!
How do we support and encourage our daughters to pursue science, technology, engineering and math careers? How do you keep up with the latest information to keep your daughter safe and healthy as she becomes a teenager? Parents will engage with current UI faculty and staff to understand the importance of supporting and encouraging girls in STEM education and how to protect our young women from cancer-causing viruses, and how to address bullying and teen stress.
To register, call 877-MED-IOWA or direct at 319 335-8886 or register online.
