University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and Genesis are teaming up to offer advice on how to help kids lead active, healthy, and balanced lives. Join us to learn about:
- fitness, nutrition, and hydration tips
- pros/cons of early strength training
- advantages and disadvantages of sports specialization
While parents attend the seminar, children ages 10 to 17 will enjoy hands-on sessions with professional trainers to keep them moving including:
- interactive games
Make sure your kids wear comfortable clothing! Please note: childcare and activities for children under age 10 will not be available.
