"I strive to provide top-notch care for all my patients and treat them as I would want to be treated if the roles were reversed. Endocrine surgery allows me to combine some internal medicine with the art and practice of surgery. Seeing my patients do well and enjoying life to the fullest gives me the utmost satisfaction. It also keeps me focused on my research goals of understanding the mechanisms of endocrine tumor development (particularly thyroid cancer) so that we may continue to improve the treatment of these diseases."
