Our Current Clinical Research Studies

Thank you for considering joining the thousands of people already participating in clinical research. As a University of Iowa Research Hero you may help save lives in your community and around the globe.

Anybody can participate in clinical research. Whether you are completely healthy or are living with a disease, chances are there’s a study out there that’s just waiting for you. Study participation can be as simple as filling out a questionnaire or maintaining a diary. Some studies are more complex and may include using new devices like pacemakers or hearing aids or taking new medications.

You don’t need to outrun trains, leap over tall buildings, or even have x-ray vision to be a University of Iowa Research Hero. All you have to do is:
