Teens between the ages of 15-18 are invited to explore various mindfulness meditation practices. When integrated consistently in daily living, these tools are useful in developing skills of attention, self-regulating emotion, and responding to internal and external experiences with wisdom and kindness, one moment at a time. The instructor for this program, Kerri Eness-Potter, taught in the Iowa City Community School District for eighteen years, and thoroughly enjoys working with teens. Her experience both with teens and with mindfulness practice bodes well for this being a rich, enjoyable, and life-enhancing time for participants in this program.
