Adult Psychiatry (1 JPW)
This 22-bed unit provides care for adult psychiatric patients with a focus on treating persons with eating disorders, mood disorders or emotional managment problems. 1 JPW has one of the few inpatient eating disorder programs in the nation. Patient referrals come from across the nation.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (1JPE)
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit has 15 beds and serves patients from three to 17 years of age who have severe psychiatric and/or behavior problems. The locked unit provides structured therapy for children and adolescents. Among other activities, patients attend Circle School, a therapeutic day school on site.
Geriatric Psychiatry (2 JPE)
This 14-bed unit provides care primarily to geriatric psychiatric patients as well as adult psychiatric patients.
Neuropsychiatric Unit (2 JPW)
This 22-bed unit provides care for patients with general psychiatric conditions, with a particular emphasis on thought disorders such as schizophrenia and other psychoses.
Psychiatry Inpatient Unit (3 BT)
This unit is a 12-bed secure unit that serves adult patients who have acute physical illnesses in conjunction with an acute psychiatric disorder. 3 BT is one of only a few such specialized medical/psychiatric units in the country.
Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic (1 JPP)
The clinic uses an interdisciplinary approach to provide outpatient psychiatric care to adults.
Chemical Dependency Service (5 BT)
The Chemical Dependency Service is an outpatient treatment service offering multiple levels of care for patients with substance abuse problems. The program operates during the day and evening Monday through Friday.
Child Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic (1 JPP)
The clinic provides outpatient assessment and therapy for children and adolescents with psychiatric problems.
Psychiatric Partial Hospital (PPH) (5 BT)
The service provides intensive psychiatric services in an outpatient setting as an alternative to inpatient care, providing a Eating Disorders and Mood Disorder track. Some people enter the PPH from the community. For others, PPH is a transition from an inpatient stay.
