    The Gazette - October 26 - Doctors at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics have successfully transplanted the first “perfect” match kidney at the hospital since 1967.

  • Drew Wall Stands Tall

    October 19 - KCRG - When Drew Wall, an active and energetic 11-year-old, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, he began going to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital for chemotherapy. 

  • A Little Blessing

    October 14 - Press-Citizen -Janie Jensen-Fitzpatrick was born with transposition of the great arteries, and in her first month of life, had two major open-heart surgeries at UI Hospitals and Clinics. Her parents shared her story at the Go Red for Women Luncheon at the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
