University of Iowa
I grew up in Heber City, Utah, a farming community outside of Salt Lake City. I stayed close to home for college and attended the University of Utah where I obtained a degree in biology. I came to Iowa for medical school and was fortunate enough to be able to stay here for residency. I've planned on becoming a family medicine physician ever since I was young. During medical school I worked with several of our program's faculty and residents and was convinced that the University of Iowa could give me the training I would need to be successful.
I have an amazing wife Lynette, and we have two great boys Cam (born Sept 2009) and Chase (born Sept 2011). We love all Hawkeye sports and are especially partial to the wrestling team. Iowa City has been a great place to raise our family. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about the program.
