PREVIOUS RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
Surgical Pathology Management Project, University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Studied and analyzed the change in large surgical pathology specimen turnaround time after implementation of workflow changes.

Informatics, University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Explored the data warehouse mining tool StarMaker and reviewed the literature on data mining for pathology using data warehouses.

Molecular pathology, University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Compared performance of comprehensive cancer mutation profiling by targeted gene panels using next generation sequencing to specific gene mutation analysis using traditional sequencing.

Management project, University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Using middleware and an open-source macro application helped streamline protein electrophoresis sign-out.

Research Assistant, Department of Medicine M.D.M. Hospital, Jodhpur. Studied Microbiological & Drug Sensitivity Profile of Jodhpur City, the data collected was used by Antimicrobial Guideline Committee to formulate guidelines for antibiotic use.

Co-Investigator, Department of Medicine, M.D.M. Hospital, Jodhpur. Conducted a Retrospective Analysis of Diabetic Admissions, collected data helped determine the burden on health care system and in the planning of appropriate management strategies.

Co-Investigator, Department of Pediatrics, Umaid Hospital, Jodhpur. Retrospectively determined the neurologic associations and factors related to Speech and Language Delay.
