Thank you for your interest in the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Our one-year accredited program offers training across the full spectrum of care, including geriatric psychiatry, geriatric medicine, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, palliative care, and long-term hospital settings. The program also offers the opportunity to work in a psychiatry department with expertise in Huntington's disease and vascular-related cognitive and depressive syndromes, as well as psychotic disorders later in life. Additionally, our faculty members are engaged in cutting edge research, such as diagnostic imaging and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
