Magnet Redesignation Confirmed
UI Hospitals and Clinics Nursing Services and Patient Care has again achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition Program®. The re-designation recognizes the continued excellence in nursing services and overall patient care.
UI nursing officials were notified Wednesday, August 20, 2008, that Magnet status has been extended for four more years.
To earn Magnet status once is a tremendous accomplishment and source of pride. To be named a Magnet facility for another four years underscores the commitment to continually work together to meet the health care needs of all patients.
