A Randomized Phase II Study Comparing Two Different Conditioning Regimens Prior to Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT) for Children with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML)

Description

Participants in this study are children with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML).
The purpose of this research study is to compare two approaches to stem cell transplant (SCT) to see which one is better for treating JMML. JMML is not well understood nor is the optimal treatment for JMML well established. Another goal of this study is to learn more about the biology and characteristics of JMML.

Approximately 15 people will take part in this study conducted by investigators at the University of Iowa. The total number of people expected to participate in this study is 220.
