A Phase III Randomized Trial for the Treatment of Newly Diagnosed Supratentorial PNET and High Risk Medulloblastoma in Children <36 Months Old With Intensive Induction Chemotherapy With Methotrexate Followed by Consolidation With Stem Cell Rescue Versus the Same Therapy Without Methotrexate
Description

Participants in this study are children under the age of three that have been diagnosed with either high risk medulloblastoma or a primitive neuroectodermal tumor. The purpose of this study is to compare two treatment regimens to see which one is a better treatment method. Approximately 4 children will take part in this study conducted by researchers at the University of Iowa. Study involvement will last approximately 6 months.
