A Phase I Trial of a Ketogenic Diet with Concurrent Chemoradiation for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Participants in this study have been diagnosed with lung cancer and their doctor has recommended chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The purpose of this research study is to determine the effects, good and bad, that using a special diet has on participants during chemotherapy and radiation therapy for lung cancer. Current research in animals suggests that lowering glucose helps increase treatment effects. That is why we are investigating this low-sugar diet.
