Pneumococcal Vaccine Study


University of Iowa is conducting a research study to test the effectiveness and safety of a pneumococcal vaccine (pneumonia shot) given at different dosages.

Adults age 55 to 64 who are in good health and have received one pneumonia shot within the past 3 to 7 years are invited to participate in the study.

The study involves 3-4 visits over a period of six months. Participants will receive either one or two doses of the vaccine.

Compensation is provided.
