The Department of Pharmaceutical Care provides a variety of patient care, educational and research-related services. Our staff members provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for hospitalized patients and clinic-visit patients. Our services are spread throughout the hospital complex to assure that patient needs are met efficiently. Our computerized ordering system, which includes barcode scans, assures that the correct patient receives the correct medication and dose at the appropriate time.
