University of Iowa Children’s Hospital invites your family to join us for a FREE night at the Iowa Children’s Museum at Coral Ridge Mall.
During this special event our family medicine doctors will answer your questions and suggest ways to keep you and your baby healthy and happy.
When: Thursday, May 10 from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.
- 6:45 p.m. -- Denise Adams, MD, will discuss how to stay healthy during your last months of pregnancy and how to prepare for childbirth.
- 7:05 p.m. -- Katie Imborek, MD, will offer tips on how to get your baby to sleep, how to calm your fussy baby, and how to know when to call the doctor.
- 7:25 p.m. -- Jason Powers, MD, will provide information on a toddler’s developing brain, how to handle tantrums, and what to do with your picky eater.
Fun for Adults
UI Children’s Hospital Safety Store specialists will demonstrate how to swaddle your baby and provide information on the safest baby-proofing products.
We know your family is busy, so feel free to attend only the presentations that interest you. A complimentary meal will be provided for all registered families and Iowa Children’s Museum staff will provide supervision for school-aged children. Parents can also register to win a free manicure and pedicure.
