The 36-bed unit houses adult neurology and neurosurgical patients who have had:
- Strokes
- Transient ischemic attacks (TIAs)
- Central nervous system autoimmune diseases
- Surgeries of the brain and spinal cord
- Neurological traumas involving the head, brain and spinal cord
The multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, nurses, unlicensed assisted personal, social workers, nurse navigators, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, registered dietitians and pharmacists.
