One of the perennial delights of hospital visitors is to tour the galleries of our Medical Museum, located on the 8th floor of the Colloton Pavilion, near elevator F. The museum is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 1 to 4 p.m.
Through temporary and traveling exhibitions of photographs, artifacts, and hands-on activities, visitors can experience the structure and functions of the human body and learn about some of the most common diseases and injuries.
The museum also presents and interprets health-science and health-care innovations, showing how UI Hospitals and Clinics and UI Children's Hospital have important roles in the challenges of disease discovery and treatment.
