Head and Neck Cancer Clinic

Head and neck cancers are those that begin in the nasal cavity, tonsils, sinuses, lips, mouth, salivary glands, throat, or voice box. Cancer of the head and neck also includes skin, bones, or soft tissues of the head or neck, as well as cancer of the thyroid.

Experts at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center understand head and neck cancers and work as a team to design the best treatment plan. A typical team is made up of surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists, as well as social workers and nurses. Treatment plans may include:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiation therapy
  • Surgery
