Resident's Life

Rotation Experiences

Upon completion of the orientation time period, residents will begin learning experiences in a longitudinal (6-12 months), extended (3-6 months), or rotational (1-3 months) fashion. New PGY2 residents who did not complete a PGY1 in the Ambulatory Care track at UIHC will complete a concentrated or extended rotation in the longitudinal clinics depending on their baseline skills, knowledge and abilities in these areas. The core extended /longitudinal experiences and possible elective rotations are listed below. Other elective rotations may exist based on the resident’s interest and availability.
