Seminars
Each fellow is expected to prepare a vitreoretinal
conference once every 2 months on a topic of choice to be presented to the
members of the Ophthalmology Department.
Fellows also participate in and present at Morning Rounds,
held Monday through Thursday year round as well as Clinical Conferences that
are held 6 times a year. Morning Rounds are a unique opportunity to hear interesting
cases and the latest treatments for diseases of other ophthalmic
sub-specialties in addition to invited speakers from around the world.
Intimate didactics are an integral part of retina fellowship
training at the University of Iowa with weekly imaging/FA conference and weekly
post-clinic rounds by Drs. Boldt, Stone, Sohn, and Folk.
