Inpatient Rotation: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
The team is comprised of a teaching faculty, a cardiology fellow and 4 senior internal medicine residents who manage 16 high acuity cardiac patients whose conditions include cardiogenic shock, ST elevation myocardial infarction, and aortic dissections. Each resident takes overnight call every 4th night.
