About the Program
We offer 1 position for a 1-year non-accredited fellowship in PET-CT imaging. The fellowship provides extensive clinical PET-CT training and research opportunities with the opportunity to work with novel PET radiopharmaceuticals. As a fellow associate faculty member, the candidate will be expected to participate in teaching residents. Duties will include covering the general nuclear medicine clinic.
The nuclear medicine faculty at The University of Iowa includes 5 MD and 6 PhD faculty. Nuclear medicine instrumentation includes three PET-CT scanners and one PET only system, and 7 modern gamma cameras, including 2 SPECT-CT systems. We have an active research program with a cyclotron and radiochemistry facilities.
