Robert Eppsteiner

Robert Eppsteiner is from Massachusetts where he attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. During his junior year he studied abroad in Valdivia, Chile. He later attended medical school at UMass Medical School prior to pursuing residency at the University of Iowa in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Bob is a research track resident and spent two years in the Molecular Otolaryngology and Renal Research Lab where he studied the impact of genetic mutation on cochlear implant performance under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Smith. In his spare time Bob enjoys playing ice hockey, spending time with family, and travel.
