I chose Iowa because of the caliber of the program and clinical instructors. Because of my training, I was able to secure my top job choice.

I am an Iowa native and graduated from UI College of Medicine in 2006. As a physician with small children, I knew that my family would benefit from the cultural influences of the Midwest. Occ Med training programs were hard to come by. I knew that UI had a very good reputation in terms of its training programs, particularly its OM program that is able to boast of a nearly 100% first-try pass rate on OM Boards. For me, it was a no brainer to return to UI to complete residency.
