Angela Farrell, MD
University of Iowa
I grew up in Iowa City and attended college at Grinnell College, in Grinnell, Iowa, where I received my BA in Biology and a concentration in Gender and Women’s Studies in 2005. After college, I returned to Iowa City and worked as a nursing assistant on one of the internal medicine/family medicine inpatient units at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and started medical school here one year later. During medical school I enjoyed volunteering at the Free Medical Clinic and the Free Mental Health Clinic, and I graduated in 2010. Some of my medical interests are women’s health, adolescent medicine, and LGBTQ health.
I enjoy camping and bird-watching with my husband Matt, who is a teacher in Cedar Rapids and also an Iowa City native. We also love hanging out with our cats, Bocce and Luca, and trying to get our puppy, Peetu, to sit. Feel free to email me any questions.
