Welcome
The UIHC Department of Pharmaceutical Care has offered pharmacy residency programs since 1946. Through our American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited programs, we train pharmacy graduates through several PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs. Additionally, our strong partnership with the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy allows us to provide an extensive well-rounded teaching, practice, and clinical research experience for our residents. Our residency graduates have gone on to key clinical, academic, and pharmacy leadership positions throughout the U.S.
