The UI Center for Advanced Reproductive Care brings together board-certified reproductive endocrinologists, urologists, specialized nurses, embryologists, and andrologists to offer a full range of infertility treatment options.

Services

As recognized experts in the field of reproductive medicine, we understand the special challenges patients face when they struggle with infertility or consequences of other reproductive disorders. We are committed to providing you with a caring and supportive environment offering the latest techniques and services.

  • Evaluation - Learn more about the different methods used to detect infertility issues.
  • Treatment Options - We offer a range of treatment options, beginning with hormonal drug therapy and, as a last line of therapy, in vitro fertilization (IVF).
  • The IVF Iowa Warranty Program - Learn about the "once cycle" option and single embryo transfer.

Accomplishments

Our pregnancy success rate is better than 60 percent for women under 35, 45 percent for women 35 to 37, 33 percent for women 38 to 40, and 39 percent for women 41 to 42.

Among our accomplishments:

  • We are Iowa's first IVF program, which has led to more than 3,000 deliveries.
  • We are recognized as a national leader for elective single embryo transfers, which contribute to health and safety of mother and child.
  • We have a delivery rate consistently above 50 percent per oocyte retrieval for women under age 35 for the past five years.
