Indicaciones
La infección de las celdillas aéreas mastoideas que no se pueda controlar con antibióticos puede requerir tratamiento quirúrgico.
Procedimiento
La mastoidectomía es la extirpación quirúrgica de estas celdillas aéreas mastoideas. Esta cirugía puede extenderse hasta el oído medio.
