Cardiodesfibrilador implantable
Un desfibrilador cardioversor implantable (DCI) es un dispositivo que detecta cualquier latido cardíaco rápido y potencialmente mortal. Si se presenta dicho latido cardíaco, llamado arritmia, el DCI envía rápidamente un electrochoque al corazón para transformar el ritmo de nuevo a la normalidad.
