La córnea es la cubierta transparente en el frente del ojo. Ésta trabaja con el lente del ojo para enfocar imágenes sobre la retina. La retina es la capa interna del ojo que recibe y transmite imágenes enfocadas. La retina es normalmente roja debido a su abundante suministro de sangre.Anatomía lateral del ojo
