Dislocación congénita de cadera
Aunque la mayoría de las dislocaciones son causadas por una caída, golpe u otro trauma, también pueden ser congénitas. Se desconoce la causa de éstas, pero es posible que se deba a factores genéticos. Los problemas que resultan de displasia de cadera pueden no ser evidentes hasta los 30 o 40 años.
