Estenosis meatal

La estenosis meatal se produce debido a la irritación de la abertura uretral en el extremo del pene, lo cual conduce a un crecimiento de tejido y cicatrices en la abertura. Esto reduce el extremo del pene haciendo que el flujo de orina salga en forma de un chorro delgado. Algunas veces se presenta también sangrado al final de la micción. Generalmente, esta condición puede tratarse en un consultorio médico usando anestesia local en el área y dilatando o ensanchando el orificio uretral con instrumentos especiales.
