Teratoma maligno

El teratoma maligno es un tipo de cáncer que consiste en quistes que contienen una o más de las tres capas germinales embrionarias: ectodermo, mesodermo y endodermo. Debido a que los teratomas pueden haberse diseminado para el momento del diagnóstico, se requiere recurrir a la quimioterapia sistémica. El diagnóstico para las personas con teratomas malignos se basa en el tamaño del tumor, su ubicación y la edad del paciente.Teratoma maligno
