Caput succedaneum
Al nacimiento, es común que la parte superior del cuero cabelludo del bebé presente hinchazón o magulladuras en las áreas que se introdujeron primero en el cuello uterino. Esto es lo que se conoce como caput succedaneum y se palpa como una masa suave y esponjosa. Este bebé tiene un caput grande en el lado derecho del cuero cabelludo.
