Urticaria pigmentosa en el tórax
La urticaria pigmentosa se caracteriza por la presencia de numerosas manchas parduscas y pruriginosas que al ser rascadas producen habones y el enrojecimiento de la piel, y que contienen mastocitos con altos niveles de histamina. Los pacientes con frecuencia experimentan oleadas de calor y rubor acompañadas de dolores de cabeza, debido a la liberación masiva de histamina a partir de estas manchas.
