Criptococosis en la frente
Este es un ejemplo de lesiones de la piel en la frente causadas por Cryptococcus, una levadura (un tipo de hongo) que raras veces causa infección y se considera oportunista, pues afecta a los individuos con un sistema inmunológico debilitado. La infección micótica por Cryptococcus es una de las más temidas por los pacientes con SIDA.
