Escorbuto; hemorragia periungual
El escorbuto es una enfermedad nutricional causada por la deficiencia de vitamina C, que se manifiesta por sangrado alrededor de los folículos pilosos, en las encías y debajo de las uñas, como se ve en esta fotografía. Esta es una enfermedad rara en los Estados Unidos.
