Mastoiditis - vista lateral de la cabeza

La mastoiditis es una infección de las celdillas aéreas óseas ubicadas en la apófisis mastoides, la cual está localizada detrás del oído. Es poco común en la actualidad gracias al uso de antibióticos en el tratamiento de las infecciones óticas.
