Urticaria pigmentosa en la axila
La urticaria pigmentosa se caracteriza por una cantidad variable de lesiones de coloración parda, las cuales causan prurito y forman verdugones y piel enrojecida cuando se las rasca. Estas lesiones contienen células con altos niveles de histamina, la cual, al ser liberada en forma masiva, puede producir enrojecimiento general y jaqueca. Esta es la apariencia típica de una de estas lesiones, conocidas como mastocitomas.
