Latido cardíaco

Durante el ciclo de los latidos cardíacos cuando se escucha el corazón con un estetoscopio, se pueden oír dos sonidos distinguibles. Estos sonidos del corazón generalmente se describen como un sonido "lup-dup" y se deben al cierre de las válvulas del corazón. Los sonidos cardíacos inusuales son denominados soplos.
