Carbohidratos simples

Los carbohidratos simples son descompuestos rápidamente por el cuerpo para ser usados como energía y se encuentran en forma natural en alimentos como las frutas, la leche y sus derivados, al igual que en azúcares procesados y refinados como los dulces, el azúcar común, los almíbares y las gaseosas. La mayor parte de la ingesta de carbohidratos debe provenir de carbohidratos complejos (almidones) y azúcares naturales, en lugar de azúcares procesados o refinados.
