Absceso piogénico

Los abscesos hepáticos pueden tener diversos orígenes: una infección sanguínea, una infección abdominal o una lesión abdominal que se haya infectado. Las bacterias infecciosas más comunes son E. coli, enterococo, estafilococo y estreptococo. El tratamiento consiste generalmente en una combinación de drenaje y de terapia antibiótica prolongada.
