Insuficiencia aórtica

La insuficiencia aórtica es una enfermedad de la válvula cardíaca donde la válvula aórtica deja de funcionar adecuadamente y de controlar el flujo sanguíneo que va desde el ventrículo izquierdo a la aorta. Comúnmente, no se presentan síntomas de insuficiencia aórtica por muchos años. Los síntomas pueden aparecer gradual o repentinamente.
